Summary
Once upon a time, there lived a couple, and they had a lot of time to just sit and talk to each other. Then suddenly, one day, the husband says I have always wanted to have cows. He says that once he has some extra money, he is going to go and buy some cows. The wife says, "Buying cows is a lot of work. You have to feed them, milk them, bathe them, and take them for a walk. They need a lot of looking after."
So the wife says that they should get only one cow because the amount of work will also become less, but then the husband says the amount of milk we will get if we have more cows. The wife agreed and said that's true; there will be enough to make Dahi, ghee and butter.
She says, Thank God, I have the earthen pots kept aside that I can use to make ghee, butter and dahi, and says that she will use the other pots to send milk to her sister. The husband asked, who said you can send milk to your sister; there will be plenty of milk. Why should I send it to your sister? He says that he will sell it in the market and not a drop of milk will go to your sister.
The wife says I will be the one cleaning up behind the cows and taking care of them, so why should you decide what happens to the milk and where it goes? The husband got angry, went inside and started to smash all the cow's earthen pots.
Gopal Bandh, who was passing by, heard all the commotion and went to see what was happening. Then he took a stick and started to hit it on the ground, moving it in the air. The husband and wife didn't understand what he was doing.
The husband and wife asked him what you were doing. He said that he was moving their greedy cows away because they destroyed his field of cucumber and beans, but they replied, saying you don't have a field of cucumber and beans. He sarcastically looked at them, and they understood that they didn't have cows either.
