Different Types of Video Editing
Linear Editing
This is an old technique and now it is not being used. This technique uses several video tapes in sequence and a single new video will be created.
Non-Linear
Non-linear editing enables direct access to any video frame in a digital video clip, without having to play or go through adjacent footage to reach it. All the videos are arranged in a timeline and you can edit any part of video.
Live Editing
This type of editing mainly takes place during live coverage of any event. Mutiple camera inputs is given to a mixer and here editing happens in real time.
