iii. Among these breeds, wool obtained from the Chokla breed is of superior quality.
iv. Rajasthan contributes to about 40-50% of the total wool production in India.
v. Breeding centers for Merino sheep have been developed at Suratgarh and Bikaner.
vi. The woolen thread-making mills are established in Jodhpur and Bikaner districts of Rajasthan.
vii. Owing to all these factors, the wool industry has flourished in Rajasthan.
