प्रश्न
Calculate the molarity of the following solution:
30 mL of 0.5 M \[\ce{H2SO4}\] diluted to 500 mL.
उत्तर
Number of moles present in 500 mL of 0.5 M \[\ce{H2SO4}\] = 0.5 mol
∴ V1 = 30 ml, M1 = 0.5 M
V2 = 500 ml, M2 = ?
∴ M1V1 = M2V2
⇒ 0.5 M × 30 ml = M2 × 500 ml
⇒ M2 = `(0.5xx30)/500`
⇒ `15/500`
⇒ 0.03 M
