उत्तर

Stress is the body's reaction to any pressures, either mental or physical. The adrenal glands are prompted to produce cortisol and adrenaline due to the sympathetic nervous system becoming active. While an appropriate level of stress is necessary for the body to function, chronic stress can have a negative impact on different areas of health, such as the heart and immune systems. Protecting the body from infections and other hazardous materials is the responsibility of the immune system. Stress may reduce the immune system's response, making it less effective in fighting illnesses and infections. Stress may cause the body to create fewer white blood cells, which are the primary defence against disease. It can also affect the functioning of other immune system components, such as antibodies and cytokines. Additionally, stress directly affects cardiac health. An ongoing stress can raise blood pressure and heart rate, which over time can affect the blood vessels and increase the chance of heart disease. Inflammation in the arteries, which can result in the accumulation of plaque and a higher chance of heart attacks and strokes, can also be brought on by stress hormones like cortisol and adrenaline. In conclusion, stress can harm the immune system and heart. It's crucial to control tension using healthy coping strategies like exercise, relaxation methods, and getting support from others.
