प्रश्न
Find the area of a quadrant of a circle whose circumference is 88 cm.
उत्तर
Let the radius of the circle be r.
Now,
Circumference = 88
⇒ 2πr = 88
⇒ r = 14 cm
Now,
Area of quadrant `= 1/4pi"r"^2 = 1/4 xx 22/7xx (14)^2 = 154 "cm"^2`
Hence, the area of the quadrant of the circle is 154 cm2 .
