(6, 1) (6, 2) (6, 3) (6, 4) (6, 5) (6, 6)

E ⟶ event of getting a sum greater than 9

No. of favorable outcomes = 6 {(4, 6) (5, 5) (5, 6) (6, 4) (6, 5) (6, 6)}

Total no. of possible outcomes = 36

We know that, Probability P(E) =`"No.of favorable outcomes"/"Total no.of possible outcomes"`

P(E) =6/36 =1/6
