योग

उत्तर

Let the basic price be x

Rebate = 15 % of x

Rebated oost of washing machine= x - 15 % of x

`= "x"  - (15 "x")/100`

`= (85 "x")/100`

Sales tax = 7 % of oost of washing machine

`= 7/100 xx (85 "x")/100`

`= (595 "x")/10000`

Total oost = oost + sales tax

`= (85 "x")/100 + (595 "x")/10000`

`= (8500 "x" + 595 "x")/10000`

`= (9095 "x")/10000`

But total oost = Rs 24,556.50

⇒ `(9095 "x")/10000` = Rs 24556.50

⇒ x = `(24556.50 xx 10000)/9095`

⇒ x = Rs 27, 000

Hence, Basic price of washing machine= Rs 27,000
