उत्तर

When AgCl is doped with CdCl
In this case two Ag ions are replaced by one  Cd+2 ions.
The 2 Cd2+ ion occupies the site of one of the Ag- ion and a cation vacancy is created at the site of the other  Ag- ion.
The cationic vacancies thus produced are equal in number to that of Cd2+ ions. This is impurity defect.
