प्रश्न

What is the relation between phase difference and Optical path in terms of speed of light in a vacuum?

टिप्पणी लिखिए

उत्तर

Phase difference, ΔΦ' = `ω/"c" xx "n"Δ"x"`

where ω is the angular frequency, c is the speed of light in vacuum and nΔx is an optical path for a wave travelling in the medium of refractive index n.
