Madrasa
उत्तर
Madrasas were established during the medieval period for imparting education, especially higher learning. They were generally attached to a mosque. Madrasas included comprehensive study of Quran alongside practical subjects (accountancy, astronomy, history, maths, Islamic law, art of administration) and languages (Arabic and Persian).
