प्रश्न
Explain, why temperature in hot summer, falls sharply after a sharp shower?
उत्तर
Water has the highest specific heat capacity of 4.2 Jg-1 °C-1. Thus, when there is a sharp shower, the water evaporates. In doing so, it absorbs a large amount of heat from surroundings, hence temperature falls sharply.
