प्रश्न

Find the volume of a sphere of diameter 6 cm.

बेरीज

उत्तर

Radius of the sphere, r =  \[\frac{6}{2}\]  = 3 cm

∴ Volume of the sphere, V = \[\frac{4}{3}\pi r^3 = \frac{4}{3} \times 3 . 14 \times \left( 3 \right)^3\] = 113.04 cm3

Thus, the volume of sphere is 113.04 cm3.

Find the surface area of a sphere of radius 7 cm.

Solution :

The surface area of the sphere = 4πr2

= `4 xx 22/7 xx square^2`

= `4 xx 22/7 xx square`

= `square xx 7`

∴ The surface area of the sphere = `square` sq.cm.
