प्रश्न
If `x=-1/2` is a solution of the quadratic equation `3x^2+2kx-3=0`
Find the value of k.
उत्तर
It is given that x=`-1/2` is a solution of the quadratic equation `3x^2+2kx-3=0`
∴` 3x((-1)/2)^2+2kxx((-1)/2)-3=0`
⇒`3/4-k-3=0`
⇒` k=(3-12)/4=9/4`
Hence, the value of k is `-9/4`
