प्रश्न
Length of the second’s pendulum is 100 cm. Find the length of another pendulum whose time period is 2.4 s.
उत्तर
We know the time period of the second’s pendulum is 2 s.
∴ T1 = 2 s, l1 = 100 cm
T2 = 2.4 s, l2 = ?
`"T"_1/"T"_2=sqrt("l"_1/"l"_2)`
`2/2.4=sqrt(100/"l"_2)`
`1/1.2=sqrt(100/"l"_2)`
Squaring both sides,
`1/1.44=100/"l"_2`
l2 = 100 × 1.44 = 144 cm
