- Division of labour increases the efficiency of labour. The worker becomes more specialised if he/she is entrusted with only a part of the work in the production process.
- When the efficiency of labour increases, it increases the quantity and quality of production. Hence, the producer gets an opportunity to raise his/her income, thus improving the standard of living.
