In ΔABD and ΔAPQ,
∠BDA  ∠PQA = 90°
∠A = ∠A
Therefore, ΔABD ∼ ΔAPQ   ...(AA axiom)

And hence, `"AB"/"AP" = "BD"/"PQ"`.
