Let R and r be the radii of the top base of the bucket, respectively, and let/ be its slant height.

Then, curved surface area of the bucket 

= curved surface area of the frustum of the cone

= π l(R+r)

`=22/7xx45xx35(28+7)"cm"^2`

`=(22/7xx45xx35)"cm"^2`

= 4950 cm2
