Length of paper = 1.2 m = 1.2 × 100 cm = 120 cm

And width of paper = 21 cm

∴ The required ratio = ${\displaystyle \frac{\text{Width of paper}}{\text{Length of Paper}}}$

= ${\displaystyle \frac{21 cm}{120 cm}}$

= ${\displaystyle \frac{7}{40}}$

= 7:40
