Data: L = 100 cm, m = 50 g = 5 × 10-2 kg, x = 3 cm,

g = 9.8 m/s2

We know that

Restoring force, F = mg sinθ = mgθ

= `(5xx10^-2)(9.8)(3/100)`

`=1.47 xx 10^-2` N
