By plotting the following points on the same graph paper. Check whether they are collinear or not:
(i) (3, 5), (1, 1) and (0, -1)
(ii) (-2, -1), (-1, -4) and (-4, 1)
Solution
After plotting the given points, we have clearly seen from the graph that
(i) A(3,5), B(1,1) and C(0,-1) are collinear.
(ii) P(-2, -1), Q(-1,-4) and R(-4,1) are non-collinear.
