(2x + 1) (3x – 2) = 6(x + 1) (x – 2)
Solution
(2x + 1) (3x – 2) = 6(x + 1) (x – 2)
6x2 – 4x + 3x – 2 = 6(x2 – 2x + x – 2)
6x2 – x – 2 = 6x2 – 12x + 6x – 12
12x - 6x - x = -12 + 2
5x = -10
∴ The given expression is not a quadratic equation.
