Question
Check whether the following sequence is in A.P.
9, 13, 17, 21, 25, ...
Solution
9, 13, 17, 21, 25, ...
t2 – t1 = 13 – 9 = 4
t3 – t2 = 17 – 13 = 4
t4 – t3 = 21 – 17 = 4
t5 – t4 = 25 – 21 = 4
Common difference are equal
∴ The sequence is in A.P.
