Question

Complete the table to draw the graph of 2x – 3y = 3,

x − 6 `square`
y `square` 1
(x, y) `square` `square`
Complete the Table
Graph
Sum

Solution

Substituting x = – 6 in 2x – 3y = 3, we get

–12 – 3y = 3

∴ 3y = – 15

∴ y = – 5

Substituting y = 1 in 2x – 3y = 3, we get

2x – 3 = 3

∴ 2x = 6

∴ x = 3

x − 6 3
y − 5 1
(x, y) (−6, −5) (3, 1)
