`9^4 ÷ 27^(-2/3)`

Solution

`9^4 ÷ 27^(-2/3)`

= `[(3)^2]^4 ÷ [(3)^3]^(-2/3)`

= `(3)^(2 xx 4) ÷ (3)^(3xx)(-2/3)`    ......(Using (am)n = amn)

= (3)8 ÷ (3)-2

= `(3)^(8-(-2)`   ......(Using am ÷ an = am - n)
= (3)8+2 
= 310
= (3)2x 5
= [(3)2]5
= [9]5
= 59049.
