The success of any business depends on the satisfaction of the needs, wants and demands of its customers, which is done by marketing. It integrates all activities and departments of the enterprise to focus on customer satisfaction.
2. Role in Social Welfare Activities: Marketing helps the government promote family planning, AIDS awareness, pollution control, and other socially useful programmes. It also helps the government remove social evils like illiteracy, gambling, racism, the dowry system, etc.
