Solution
36:90 =`36/90 = (36 ÷18)/(90 ÷18) = 2/5` (As the H.C.F. of 36 and 90 is 18.)
Since the H.C.F. of 2 and 5 is 1, the simplest form of 36:90 is 2:5.
