Solution
It is known that the distance between the two points is obtained by subtracting the smaller coordinate from the larger co-ordinate.
The coordinates of points B and E are 2 and 5 respectively.
but 5 > 2
∴ d (B, E) = 5 − 2
∴ d (B, E) = 3
