Question
Find the perimeter and the area of the rectangle whose length is 6 m and breadth is 4 m
Solution
Perimeter of a rectangle P = 2(l + b) units
Length l = 6 m
breadth b = 4 m
p = 2 × (6 + 4) m
= 2 × 10 m
Perimeter = 20 m
Area = l × b unit2
= 6 × 4 m2
= 24 m2
Area = 24 m2
