Question

Find the  total surface area and   whose height is 15 cm and the radius of the base is 7 cm.

Short Note

Solution

\[ \text{ Given: } \]
\[\text{ Height, h = 15 cm } \]
\[ \text{ Radius, r = 7 cm } \]
\[\text{ Total surface area, } S_2 = 2\pi r\left( r + h \right)\]
\[ = 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 7 \times \left( 7 + 15 \right)\]
\[ = 44 \times 22\]
\[ = 968 {\text{ cm } }^2 \]
