Solution
`a/b = 2/3`
⇒ `[4a]/[3b] = [4 xx 2]/[ 3 xx 3] = 8/9`
Applying componendo, we get
`[ 4a + 3b]/(3b) = [ 8 + 9]/9`
⇒ `[ 4a + 3b]/(3b) = [ 17 ]/9`
