Solution
f(x) = 3x2 – 5x + 7
∴ f(x – 1) = 3(x – 1)2 – 5(x – 1) + 7
= 3(x2 – 2x + 1) – 5(x – 1) + 7
= 3x2 – 6x + 3 – 5x + 5 + 7
= 3x2 – 11x + 15
