Solution
Mean `(barx)` = 15
Coefficient of variation = 48
`sigma/(barx) xx 100` = 48
⇒`sigma/15 xx 100` = 48
σ × 100 = 48 × 15
σ = `(48 xx 15)/100`
= `720/100`
= 7.2
Standard deviation (σ) = 7.2
