Solution
Standard deviation (σ) = 1.2
Coefficient of variation = 25.6
`sigma/bar(x) xx 100` = 25.6
`1.2/bar(x) xx 100` = 25.6
⇒ `25.6 xx bar(x)` = 1.2 × 100
`bar(x) = 120/25.6`
= `(120 xx 10)/256`
= 4.687
= 4.69
Value of mean = 4.69
