If x = 3, y = 2 and z = 1; find the value of 3x2 − 5y2

Sum

Solution

x = 3, y = 2, z = 1

3x2 − 5y2 = 3(3)2 − 5(2)

= 3 × 9 − 5 × 4

= 27 − 20

= 7
