Question
In figure the position of a body times is shown . Calculate the speed of the body as it moves from 0 to A, A to B, B to C and i ts average speed .
Solution
{a) Speed as it moves from o to a = {6 - O)/ {3 - 0 = 2 ms-1.
(b) Speed as it moves from A to B = {6 - 6)/ (5 - 3) = o ms-1.
(c) Speed as it moves from B to c = {14 - 6)/ {8 -5) = 8/ 3 = 2.66 ms-1
