Solution
The figure is given as follows:

∠A + ∠D = 180°
It is given that ∠A = x + 20° and ∠D = 2x + 10°.
(x + 20°)+ (2x + 10°) = 180°
3x + 30° = 180°
3x = 180° - 30°
3x = 150°
x = 50°
Similarly,
y + 92° = 180°
y = 180° - 92°
y = 88°
Hence, the required values for x and y is 50° and 88° respectively.
