In parallelogram ABCD, find ∠B, ∠C and ∠D.
Solution
In a parallelogram, the opposite angles are equal, therefore ∠C = ∠A = 80°
Also, adjacent angles are supplementary.
∴ ∠A + ∠B = 180°
80° + ∠B = 180°
∠B = 180° – 80°
⇒ ∠B = 100°
Now, ∠B = ∠D
∴ ∠D = 100°
