Solution
In ΔABC, DE || AC
∴ `"BE"/"EC" = "BD"/"DA"` ......(i)(By Basic Proportionality theorem)
In ΔABP, CD || AP
∴ `"BC"/"CP" = "BD"/"DA"`.......(ii)(By Proportionality theorem)
From (i) and (ii)
`"BE"/"EC" = "BC"/"CP"`.
