सिद्ध कीजिए।
यदि `tantheta + 1/tantheta = 2` तो सिद्ध कीजिए कि `tan^2theta + 1/tan^2theta = 2`
Solution
`tantheta + 1/tantheta = 2` .........(दिया है |) ..............(1)
दोनों पक्षों का वर्ग करने पर,
`(tantheta + 1/tantheta)^2 = (2)^2`
∴ `tan^2theta + 2(tantheta)(1/tantheta) + 1/tan^2theta = 4` .............[∵ (a + b)2 = a2 + 2ab + b2]
∴ `tan^2theta + 2 + 1/tan^2theta = 4`
∴ `tan^2theta + 1/tan^2theta = 4 - 2`
∴ `tan^2theta + 1/tan^2theta = 2`.
