Solution
- 3x + 4 = 10
⇒ - 3x + 4 - 4 = 10 - 4 (Substracting 4 from both sides)
⇒ - 3x = 6
⇒ `"- 3x"/-3 = 6/-3` (Dividing by - 3)
∴ x = -2
