⇒ `"p"/(2) + (3"p")/(4) - "p"` = -3

⇒ `(2"p" + 3"p" - 4"p")/(4)` = -3

⇒ `"p"/(4)` = -3
⇒ p = (-3)(4)
⇒ p = -12.
