Solution
`(4)/(5) x - 21 = (3)/(4)x - 20`
⇒ `(4)/(5)x - (3)/(4)x` = 21 - 20
⇒ `(16x)/(20) - (15x)/(20)` = 21 - 20
⇒ `(16x - 15x)/(20)` = 1
⇒ 16x - 15x = 20
⇒ x = 20.
