Question
The angles at a point are x°, 2x°, 3x°, 4x° and 5x°. Find the value of the largest angle?
Solution
Sum of angles at a point = 360°
∴ x° + 2x° + 3x° + 4x° + 5x° = 360°
15x° = 360°
x° = `(360^circ)/15`
x° = 24°
∴ The largest angle = 5x°
= 5 × 24°
= 120°
The largest angle is 120°
