Question

The normal boiling point of water is 100°C or 212°F and the freezing point of water is 0°C or 32°F. Find the value of C for 98.6°F

Sum

Solution

For 98.6°F To find C.

(1) ⇒ C = `5/9 (98.6^circ - 32^circ)`

C = `5/9 xx 66.6^circ`

C = `333/9` = 37°

C = 37°
