The nth term of an AP is (3n +5 ). Find its common difference.
Solution
We have
Tn = (3n +5)
Common difference = T2- T1
`T_1 = 3 xx 1 +5=8`
`T_2 = 3 xx 2 + 5=11`
d= 11-8-3
Hence, the common difference is 3.
