Question
The salary of Mr. Sahni is ₹ 8,400 per month, which is now decreased by 8%. Find his new salary per month.
Solution
Monthly salary = ₹ 8,400

New salary = monthly salary − decrease
= ₹ 8,400 − ₹ 420
= ₹ 7,980
