Question

The truck has to apply a force of 3000 N to overcome friction while moving with a uniform speed of 36 kmhr-1. What is the power developed by the truck?
Numerical

Solution

We know that, power = forcew x velocity

Here, force = 3000 N,

velocity = 36 kmhr-1 = 10 m/s

Power = 3000 x 10 = 3000 watt
