Question

Write the greatest common factor in the following terms.

21pqr, –7p2q2r2, 49p2qr

Sum

Solution

We have,

21pqr = 7 × 3 × p × q × r

–7p2q2r2 = –7 × p × p × q × q × r × r

49p2qr = 7 × 7 × p × p × q × r

∴ The greatest common factor i.e. GCF is 7pqr.
