Suppose, the amount sent to Alka every month is x. She spends 90% of it.
∴ She saves 10 % of the amount, which is Rs 120
`∴ 120 = x ×10/100`
∴ 120 × 10 = x
∴ x = 1200
∴ Amount sent to Alka every month is RS 1200.
